Can I ship my beta Fish?

I am going to college in a different state than I live. I have a beta fish named Azul who is really beautiful, active, and I just love him. I have to move out in like 2 weeks and I do not know what to do. I usually take a plane when I fly home. Can I bring him on the plane with me in a container? Can I ship him? How do I get my fish to go to a different state? I DO NOT want him to die :( I really love him. Does anyone have any advice, can anyone help me??? Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you!
I should add that I have no choice but to bring him with me.. no one lives here that can take care of him! So he has to travel with me, "doing nothing" is not an option!

I have heard that fish don't survive if they go on planes, I think it is due to a lack of air pressure or maybe too much of it. I have two beta fish of my own and if I were you, I wouldn't risk it.

No because fish live in water and you can't bring any liquid on to the plane.

Sorry!

you could keep him in a small bag on the plane they don't need much space or air because they breath human air also just make sure it doesn't fall or shake too much. open the sometime to let new air in.
