I'm headed to boot camp on June 30th. I have been advised from senior members of my unit to only have letters mailed to me. No candy or gum or anything in the envelope that would attract me unwanted attention.
It's a nice idea for your friend but would likely draw unwanted attention to her. Do her a favor and save her from the extra PT.

Thanks for your support though.

its great that you are supporting our troops but you probably dont want to do that cause she is only in boot camp you should wait to she gets out then ship her the goods.

God bless the USA!
Tell your friend that back home we are wishing her luck

My friend has 3 more weeks at boot camp. Can I mail her treats (i.e. lemon bars) while she's there or is that prohibited? Or will the Drill Sergeants eat it all before she gets it. Thanks.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Yeah, I figured the sarge's would get into it....and yes I already did send her something that got her some attention it just wasn't food...and no she didn't fail and no one hates her so you really didn't need to say that. I know it's not girl scout camp, silly.

DO NOT send anything but Letters...
while she is in Boot Camp...

Once she is out of Boot Camp you can
send her all the Treats you want...

only if you want her to fail and get recycled.leave her alone, this is not the girl scout camp.

answer yes no they wont eat them call the camp and ask what items are allowed or they may have a website telling you but maybe boot camp has no luxurys call them

Do not send her packages that will bring her attention she doesn't want. It is only 3 more weeks.

The DI's will either make her open it and they will eat them there or they will just lock it up till she leaves.

You could, but they will be 'intercepted' by the Drill. Just wait a few weeks and treat your friend to a real nice dinner.

Go ahead...send some. It was always funny to watch the Drill Sergeant eat some private's candy he got through mail.

She'll get them...as long as the package gets there on time...

edit. Weird, reading these answers, I could have sworn we sent my brother goodies and he thanked up after he received them.

Sure you can send them. She won't get them. But you can send them.

It will be hilarious for the rest of the unit when she has to crumble them up and throw them away in front of them.
