Can I rig my moped to start with a switch instead of a wireless ignition?

My 150cc can use a wireless start with alarm. So since the alarm box with the wireless ignition is broke can I use the wire harness used to hook up the wireless start/ alarm to wire up a switch starter for my 150cc Velocity moped/cycle.
