Depends where you live, most sidewalks will be marked (NO BIKE RIDDING) or your local town will have signs posted some areas where there are hospitals and senior citizens homes might be of limits. Usually its ok because most kids are allowed to ride to school and cant ride in the street it really depends where you live.
