Can i ride a 29er at a downhill bike park?

I just got a Gary Fisher Cobia 29er. I do lots of xc riding and in the summer i like to go to 7 Springs Downhill Bike Park. I usually take a crappy 26 inch tired bike. But now i have a new 29er. I was wondering if i would be able to ride this at the parks. I dont know if the think would break when going off jumps or not. Please give me some details. It would be highly appreciated.
