Can i return a used game that i bought...?

i bought a used Left 4 Dead game at a local game store call Play N' Trade.. i bought Left 4 Dead, and i keep getting motion sickness from it, so i wanted to return it. On the receipt it says "- All USED games and video game systems have a 0 day guarantee against all defects.".. what does that mean?? does it mean I cant return it?
