I am getting charged for assault on a security guard at a casino, he said I swung at him which i did not. I have the security survelliance video that shows I did nothing wrong.My lawyer gave me two options, pay a small amount and plead guilty or pay a big amount and take it to trial. I am wondering if i would get off on the charge representing myself not guilty?
can i represent myself in court for an assault charge?
