Can i replace the Hard drive in the HP ENVY Beats Edition?

I am buying the HP ENVY Beats edition 14 form Hp. It comes with a 7200RPM hardrive but i want to upgrade it to an SSD. I contacted Hp and they said it coudnt but what is your opinion ?. Does it void my warranty?
