I have a 1997 Saturn SL2 Sedan and need an engine or a rebuild. First and most importantly, I would like to know if there are any other engines that are compatible (I heard Saturn Engines are made by Honda, and I also heard they are made by Ford - are either of these or ANY other manufacturer compatible???) My research has turned up lots of information that Saturn engines start mysteriously using oil and don't last past 80K miles. If there are NO POSSIBILITIES of a compatible engine I will need a new or used Saturn engine or a rebuild with installation. Please contact me ASAP if you have ANY sort of information or can help me - I must have the car running by the time summer's over - the sooner the better. I am willing to have the car towed or picked up. Thank you!!!
