Can I renew one phone on Verizon without renewing the other phones on the plan?

I want a new phone because my old one broke, and our plan is finally near the end. Which means normally, I could get a new phone. But, my dad and my mom doesn't want a new phone, but i NEED one because the one i have is incredibly old and isn't working right anymore.
Is it possible for me to get a new phone (the contract is up, remember) without them getting a new one and without me having to pay a full retail price?
