I got a friend to dye my hair today and it didn't turn out all that great. I bought a colour remover (it specifically said there was no bleach or ammonia in the product) It lightened up my hair a bit and then I put the colour on. The end result is VERY patchy (I have lots of the new colour and lots of my old still). I'm thinking my friend just didn't realize how much dye we had to work with and couldn't cover it all.
Anyway, I am wondering if it will be alright to repeat this process 24 hours later? I was thinking of getting a different colour remover, something stronger than what I used the first time, but still not as harsh as bleach. I don't care about having dry hair, it won't take much time to fix... I just don't want my hair to break off or anything.
I've done an olive oil mask for my hair overnight to help with the damage I've caused today if this makes any difference... Opinions/advice?
