...to get a lawyer to do this? I have two court orders from Zimbabwe regarding our divorce, the first from the High Court and the second from the Supreme Court. Part of the judgment gave me and the children permission to leave Zimbabwe and relocate permanently back in England, it also stated that I should register the judgment with the UK Court. My ex has not honoured the financial settlement and has now started new proceedings in the UK. I am completely broke,we are staying with my parents, I'm trying to find work and simply do not have any money for legal fees. I'm waiting to see if I can get Legal aid but in the meantime I need to get some maintenance off him. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. thank you

You should be able to get a free 30 mins with a solicitor.
have a look on the net for someone who deals with this sort of thing and contact them, explain the situation and see what they suggest.

I'm sure there is legal help in your city for this type of thing but ALWAYS GET A LAWYER!! I'd start calling the public legal offices that are affiliated with the gov't or child welfare services.
