I am 19 years old and am considering joining the military. i have a daughter that will soon be 4 years old. i have not had custody of her since she was 3 months old. She went into foster care and then into my parents custody because I was inconsiderate, childish, selfish and not ready to have a child. I want her back. I want whats best for her. Being with my parents, is not whats best for her. I'm considering on joining the air force because everyone is telling me that in the long run, it will be worth it and I will get her back. What should I do? i cant afford to go to college and it seems it will be quicker for me to get her back if I go the military route. Any advice?
Can i regain custody of my child if the courts see that I have joined the military?
