I have just received a notification that my mom is tracking my whereabouts via my cell phone. OK, I am 18 and just about to be out of high school. I have always been what you call a "good kid" I don't ever get in trouble, or desire to do so. She is very controlling even to my older siblings who are in their mid 20s and 30s. I am the only one who stayed living with her up until I am 18 if that says anything. I feel that this is slightly insulting because there is no reason to distrust me. I have worked for her for five years at her business, I help out as much as I can and I actually spend a lot of my time doing whatever she has me doing. I do as she says, and obey her rules and very strict curfews even. I understand she is my mother, and she's taken care of me and her rules are to be respected. But I am not 5 either, this I feel is too much. I don't even know if it's legal? She put the tracking on my 25 year old brother who lives away from home as well.
What do I even do?
Please in answering understand that I understand parents rights to set rules with their children and I respect that. But as I've been 18 for about 6 months now rules have gotten even tighter.
