Can I re-apply to Blockbusters after resigning pending an Investigation?

I worked at blockbusters for 3 years. I was pending an investigation for something I'm not proud off when I resigned. I recently heard from a colleague that I could re-apply after 6 months of resigning and wont have to worry about being sent on investigation... Anyone know if this is true?

I resigned more than a year ago.
@Terrier - Blockbuster Entertainment LTD not Blockbuster TV show... Made me laugh though :)
