Can I put our name on a military housing waiting list while my husband is still in AIT..

...for the Army? I'm 18 weeks pregnant now and will be 32 weeks by the time my husband gets done with his AIT. Is there any way to go ahead and get the ball rolling on things for him so that we can move more quickly?
 
Once he gets his orders he can do it. If you have a copy of his orders and a POA you can do it. Your priority date will be the day he checks out of AIT.

You will need to have actual orders to send them before they will even consider it. Some posts allow for applications to be submitted and accepted prior to actually signing into the post. Go to https://onestop.army.mil/ and find the post you're going to and look at their application. All you can do is try but without actual orders don't be surprised if you get told no.
