Can i put my Go phone sim card in my Sony Ericsson phone?

New member
I no longer have the At&t service but i bought a Go Phone and it came with the card and I activated it bout the end of June. I want to put my sim in my Sony Ericsson phone but i dont want it to fry my sim card. I had tried to put it in recently and it said insert correct sim??? How do i fix this?
