Can I put my Citroen ZX radio straight into my Ford Escort?

I have a broken old ZX with a standard Citroen radio which I have the code for, I was wondering if I can put this straight into a Ford Escort which has no radio but all the connections for a standard Ford radio/cassette as far as I can tell.
