Can i put fish in my old fishes tank?

hey im moving my bigger fish into a new tank but he did have a health problem (a weird lump on his head) so can i put new fish into his tank?
 
Yes, but when you are putting the fish in put them in a bag with water from the old tank and put them in the water ( in the bag) they will get used to the temperture of the tank and if its clear and u see the other fishes trying to attack it dont put it in.
