The chili is now ready for simmering, and my beans aren't quite as tender as they need to be. Can I place them into the chili now, and have them finish cooking while in it, or will they not cook right? They need about 30-45 minutes more and the chili is going to be simmering for another hour or more. Will it hurt?
Can I put beans into chili that are not fully cooked?
