can i put a turbo on my '05 dodge neon sxt?

i know the srt-4 is the faster of the neons. however i just bought a 05 neon sxt, 5-speed manual, and it looks good. i just want to make it a little faster. any ideas? is it safe to put a turbo on the stock engine or will it just blow up? haha other performance/cosmetic ideas?
