Can I put a Kawasaki Regulator/Rectifier on a Suzuki?

What I want to know is can I take a rectifier from a Kawasaki and put it on a Suzuki? I am just trying to find the cheapest parts I can and I cannot seem to find a cheap Suzuki rectifier. I have a 1982 GS450 and I found a rectifier for an 81 KZ440 for really cheap. Is there going to be a problem interchanging these parts? I don't know a ton about electrical stuff so I don't want to mess up the bike any more then it already is. Any help would be much appreciated.
 
no sorry dude.
the bikes are off a difffrent cc engine captivity.
it would mess with the engines current settings.
therefore reducing how well the engine performs.
but if u so desire u could exsperiment to see what happens.
i just dont recoment it.
