Can i put a Honda cr250 motor in a Suzuki rm125 bike?

the motor mounts will not match up, and the frame will need modification, to allow for differences in the crank pedal, and the carb height, and the width of the frame will need to be changed slightly, so, yeah, it will work, you just need to be able to fabricate mounts, re-work the frame, and weld and bend tubing-hint, always use chrome-moly or dom tubing, use enough gussets or braces to strengthen the frame, and make sure the sprockets line up...plumbing the fuel, and the throttle cable should be a breeze, and make sure you can start the engine with ease, new a guy that did a similar swap, finished it, started the engine, ran fine, went to an event, found he could not remove the carb to clean or change the jets-bummer! So, think it through, get a good caliper, cut out the mounts you will need for the cr in cardboard, but nothing succeeds like trying, what is the worst thing that can happen? Now, if the rm has any aluminum in the frame, 01's I believe do not, but if it does, then just do the same with the heliarc-get a welding shop to help, will cost some $, but if you are correct in what you need, the shop can give you a close estimate of the costs-this bike should be a screamer, but, do not be disappointed if the rm with the cr motor does not do that much better than the cr would in a stock cr frame...my advice, take the cr, leave it in the frame it came in, and use it that way, will retain its value also, whereas the bastardized rm with the cr will be an enigma that no one will want when it is time to change bikes-just a thought.
