Can i put a 5.9 dodge engine in a truck that had a 5.2.(auto)?

i just bought a 1994 dodge 2500 with a good motor the truck was in a roll over and all thats good is the motor(trans got smashed), i recently bought a 1996 dodge 1500 with a blown 5.2 can i put the 5.9 into the 1500, what do i have to change to adapt it if so?
 
it should bolt in but i would check with the scrap yard first and they should be able to tell you
