Yes, the trans and motor mounts will be the same as long as your replacement engine is older than 1999. If you don't have the same version of the motor, you may not have the right sensors for your computer, for example your 89's computer won't know how to talk to a 93 Vin W (CPI) fuel injection system. To be completely sure all your sensors will work, you could swap the heads and intake from your 89 engine onto your new engine block.
