Can I plug my cassette converter form my stereo into my Vizio 32 inch?

My tv is the newer model with interenet and higher definition. On the back their is a audio plug but it is along with the PC plug in. Is there a way to plug my stereo cassette converter into it? and use that audio plug for normal cable or netflix? not just PC. I want to have the sound from my tv going through my stereo speakers using the cassette converter of the stereo
