I'm refinishing the woodwork in my house and have invested a lot of time stripping and sanding it down to near bare wood. Now I'm ready to paint and want to be sure I'm doing it right the first time. I bought oil-based Kilz primer and a latex semi-gloss for the topcoat. Will this work, or am I asking for it to peel? What will give me the best results?
Can I paint latex semi-gloss interior paint over an oil-based primer?
