Can I OPEN CARRY a hand gun on my own property (home,Business)?

According to these laws I can even carry a gun in my trunk. Am I understanding this correctly?
I reside in Michigan.
The owner wants me to have a gun on me at work. I was just wondering if it was legal or not.
