Can i mate my dwarf rabbit with a small breed male?

Hi one of my rabbits has just died and my other rabbit is left alone, i cannot introduce her to another rabbit as she is dominant. However she is lonely. I adopted a male small breed rabbit and would like my female rabbit to have babies in the hope of keeping one of her babies for company. Is it possible for me to mate them?
 
Before breeding you should find as much information as you can about rabbits and how to breed. Its not that simple. Its not always easy to tell how many baby rabbits you will have. Or if you can get them a home. A mother rabbit can sometimes be funny with there young that is kept and will sometimes fight with them. The best thing i think you should do is have the male or female rabbit spayed/nuertured so they cannot have babies. Your female and male will like this better. Alot of rabbits can get stressed when breeding. If you cannot have them done then maybe get a guniea oig to go with your rabbit. They go really well together.

If you do chose to breed them depending on what breed your female is depends on if you should mate your drawf. Mating a english lop and a drawf rabbit can lead to some problems in baby rabbit. They can get squished in the uterus and not form correctley so be carefully.
