can i make my panasonic th42pwd5 monitor in to a tv ?

i have just got a panasonic th42pwd5 monitor i am told i can make it in to a tv !

i was toldi can use a vga to scart , i went and got one but still nowt ,is the 15pin 1 if that makes a dif ?
any way i then went out and got a scart to s-video and put it on to the dvd player and i got it to work but only in black and white !
i have a vga input 9pin and a vga 15pin
iam not to good with these thing so any help would be a great help ,
any more info needed plez let me know andi will do my best to tell you

p.s i do not have a pc to use with it
 
if it has rgb jacks on the back you can go from scart to jacks yellow for tv red and white for audio , other than that you have to use the bnc connections (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?moduleno=4702) try this i think this will be what your after
