Can I loose weight by bicycling?

I am 19 and the last time I weighed myself I was 207 lbs (I lost 43 lbs in 6 months by eating healthier and not exercising as much). Chances are that I gained weight because I feel bigger.

I was wondering if bicycling will help me loose weight. I run two miles 3 to 4 times a week. Can anyone tell me if I can get the same results if I start riding bikes or should I stick to running?

My goal is to get down to 155lbs by my 20th birthday which is February 2009.
