Hey, just got a new 14 week old bunny today. Have a lovely hutch, but wondering whether i should keep him outside at night. Itd bee great to have the opinion of someone who knows what theyre on about. Thank you xxx

Ok well first of all you need to consider the temperature outside, if your bunny has been kept indorrs since he was born then you need to let him stay outside during the day and then bring him in at night untill he becomes used to the temperature, of course this depends on where u live, if it is mid summer and warm where you live and the night time temperature doesn't drop too much he shoudl be fine. His coat will adapt to the weather but obviously this takes time.
Make sure your pet has plenty of bedding available to use should he get cold and plenty of fresh water. Also try to ensure that your pets hutch isnt in direct sunlight as it can overheat.

i have 2 rabbits i keep outside in a hutch we built. They have alot of area to run around in and they seem to like it alot. But lately it has been 106+ degrees out here so i bring them indoors during the day and put them out when it cools down. They weren't looking to good out there in the heat. That's why i started to bring them in. They would just lay there and breathe funny. Well i hope this helps some..

When we had a rabbit we kept him outside at all times and shoved a load of hay in in teh winter, especially at summer i think its a good idea (:
