I'm going to say no since you clearly don''t have a clue, or you wouldn't be asking about carrying a gun in your purse. Normally I would tell you that it depends on your state and what kind of permit you need to get. However, you should not be carrying a gun at all, since it's pretty clear that you have no kind of training. Carrying a gun in your purse is useless, unless you're trying to make your purse heavy enough to bash in someone's head, in which case I recommend carrying rolled coin.
In some states it is actually legal to carry openly.
