Can I just get a U-haul and start taking stuff out of my house now? (Divorce)?

I've been married for 1 year now and plan on getting a divorce soon.
I want to get a U-haul and start taking some stuff out of our house (I still live with my husband) and bring it to my new house (he doesn't know that I'm moving out yet).... I'm mostly taking small stuff (patio furniture, wall hangings/pictures, some kitchen stuff, a curio cabinet, 1 couch (we have 2), 1 coffee table (again, we have 2). Mostly everything is things that we have purchased after we got married & he does not have any proof that they were his in the first place.

Can I do this without getting into trouble?
I'm really not screwing him over at all. I'm leaving him with 3 widescreen tvs, couch, coffee tables, tv stands, master bedroom furniture, guest bedroom furniture, washer, dryer, car, $5000 pool table.... ect.

I just don't want to go through the whole court process just to get several things out of the house. Plus I want to move out NOW & I'm afraid that he will throw away most stuff out of just being nasty.

And you don't know the whole story about why we are getting a divorce so you have no room to run your mouth.
