I want to do 4 years of college and then go to officer school for the air force, I have graves disease but havent had any problems with it. The only thing I have to do is take one pill at night. Would they issue a waiver for me to join? or is it permitly disqualifying?
graves disease is hyperthyroidism. basically i have to take a pill to keep my hormones regulated. But graves disease can also go into remission where I wouldn't have to take medicine everyday.
