The DVD burner on my HP Compaq laptop produces loads of sound while reading a disc and for many DVDs it just keep on spinning and not read at all.
Also in case of CDs on playing movie from it, it stop responding and keep on spinning after some time..
Don't know what's the problem. So I just want to replace the old burner with a new DVD burner. I have heard that Sony DVD burners are gud so, I am a bit confused that whether the SONY burner will fit and work on my HP laptop. I can install a DVD burner and just want to confirm it from you all guys and gals.
If Sony does not work please suggest me a better burner which will fit to my Compaq Presario C738TU laptop (8X speed,DVD-RW, Intel Mobile 965-GML chipset, 2Gb RAM ).
