My mechanic installed a new oil pump in my 1994 Honda Accord because the oil light went on. The car had been sitting all winter. He said that the oil pressure is still defective. After driving for several minutes, the light goes back on. Originally it went on and I drove it anyway(from bad advice)then it fried the cam shaft. The mechanic replaced it and the head. Then I found that the light still appeared. So, then he replaced the pump, and the light still appears. The car has 200,00 miles but still runs good. To compensate for the oil deficiency, I plan on installing an additional oil pump on the outside of the engine. Any advice regarding this secondary pump?
