I'm an 18 year old guy and my stamina isn't horrible, but not good enough for Army Basic. I can run a mile in about 7 minutes exact. But then I'm just burned out after that mile.
I know I can push myself to 1.5 miles because I've done it before, but I'll just be dead after that lol. I was thinking, what if I ran my mile everyday and increased my distance by a quarter mile everyday? Like I'd push myself to run the extra quarter mile. I'll be running 5 days a week.
I need to get to 5 miles by May 14th and I plan on starting running every morning from Monday(April 20). Would this plan work?
Thanks!
