can I improve my sprinting in two weeks?

hey everyone. I have lacrosse tryouts in two weeks and I desperately need to work on my sprinting. is there any way that I can significantly improve in two weeks? and if so, what workout regimine should I follow? I can only work out on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. thanks!
 
my 11 yr old daughter takes private lessons for soft ball and her coach is telling her tie a rope around her waist and drag a tire back and forth the foot ball field and it will make her faster. IDK. just a suggestion. hes an old pro player. hope it helps :)
