Can i (if so how?) tether (put internet from my phone to computer) with my Motorola

RAZR V9X?I? I'm going on holidays soon and i need internet as i need to keep in contact with a friend and internet is over priced and dodgey in the place i am going (been there before) i cannot change my reservation as it is for business reasons. But i heard that iphones can tether internet can i do this with my Motorola RAZR V9X aswell if so how? what programs do i need? I also have a Sony Ericsson W910i if it is possible to do so with that? (again links and steps greatly appreciated)
