I have a Philips HTS3544 home theater system and the DVD player is no longer working. It abruptly stopped reading discs and now it sticks on "loading" for about 5 minutes before it says "no disc." This literally happened abruptly, I had a disc in that was playing and it stopped playing and when I opened and closed the tray it started giving that error.
Anyway, long story short, I'm sure it's going to be cost prohibitive to repair and I don't want to spend the money for another home theater system when there's nothing wrong with the speakers. So does anyone know if the speakers and subwoofer will connect to other DVD players?
