can i have a blackberry without a data plan or just play to add bb services...

...to an existing plan? i currently am on a family plan with an lg rumor, my plan includes talk and text, i am willing to add on internet services if they dont break the bank. does any one know if i can activate the black berry without adding internet and simply switch the numbers from the rumor to the bb. let me know.

Most companies can detect what phone you are using. When they realize that you are using a BlackBerry, they will automatically add the BB plan to your bill.
