Can i grow cranberries in a fish tank?

They would need to have their roots in soil and leaves above water. This wouldn't leave much room for fish. It would also take a huge amount of light.

It would work extremely well in an outdoor fish pond. The fish manure adds fertilizer to the water, and the plants absorb it and clean the water.

Aquaponics is a technique which pumps fish tank water into hydroponic systems, and makes it possible to grow lots of fish and vegetables in a confined space. It would work very well for cranberries, and would provide some nice catfish fillets on the side.

The limiting factor would be SUNSHINE. I don't think it would work indoors very well.

But outside, go for it. Even if you only get a half-dozen cranberries...it's always fun to try unusual small-scale projects.
