Can I give a clarification on artificial life?

Scientists did not create microbes like the natural ones

Scientists created droplets of self-replicating polymers (substances containing chains of a repeated molecule)

These polymers: cyclodextrins, crown ethers, calixarenes replicate droplets of themselves simply by electrically attracting more molecules of the same kind outside their droplets and forming buds out of them

They can also perform breakdown of molecules, oxidation on other substances like microbes do

But they don't have a separate cytoplasm, membrane, ribosomes, nucleus

They are spheres made of a single substance

So no, they don't disprove any religion.

And other experiments involved only changing or creating new DNA of natural cells, the molecule serving for reproduction in any cell

which didn't mean creating the full microbe

Scientists did not create microbes like the natural ones -- false

Scientists created droplets of self-replicating polymers -- true

These polymers... replicate.... -- true, but in several ways besides that just listed.

They can also perform breakdown of molecules, oxidation on other substances like microbes do -- true but also incomplete... other methods besides oxidation are utilized

But they don't have a separate cytoplasm, membrane, ribosomes, nucleus -- true

They are spheres made of a single substance -- false

So no, they don't disprove any religion.-- WTF?

And other experiments involved only changing or creating new DNA of natural cells, the molecule serving for reproduction in any cell -- true, there are other experiments that only do that

which didn't mean creating the full microbe -- but does prove that it can be done... easily

Look, I realize you are probably a fanatic and that I am wasting my time, but if one group of people successfully builds an engine and another group of people successfully builds a body with a frame and transmissions and all the other necessary parts, then "Man has successfully created the automobile" whether any one single group ever combines the two experiments or not.

there is NO part of "Life" or "an original" living organism that has NOT been produced in the laboratory.. Natural DNA has been artificially replicated and artificial DNA has been naturally replicated, therefor obviously artificial DNA can be artificially replicated.... whether it has or not remains irrelevant. (it has, by the way)

There is NO reason to suppose that Man creating life disproves religion. People had this same irrational fear when we started bringing the dead back to life and when we started creating people in test tubes.... this is NOT the final step in destroying religion, we have just pushed back the veil another step.
