He has not had an episode with the crystals in many years, but is on a special food because of it. He eats the hairball paste with no problems, so I wonder if the glucosamine paste would be fine, too, as I have noticed he's been limping on a front leg in the past few weeks, and I'm positive it's arthritis (he's 10 yrs old). If you have another recommendation (other than asking my vet), please let me know.
This is not a question as to whether my cat has arthritis or not, just if you think it's is ok for a cat with a history of sturvite crystals to take a glucosamine paste. Please read the question before answering. I know a visit to the vet is the best solution, and I am asking for another opinion.
I have asked my vet and am instersted in other opinions. Hence coming to this site to ask for opinions and stating "other than asking my vet".
