I have a 1970 valiant and the car runs fine when moving fast but when my foot leaves the gas pedal the car stalls.. any stoplight.. right before i try to park. I need some help, thank you very much!
may want check float level in carb, look for a vacuum line that might be leaking or fallen off, fuel filter may be plugged, may have water in the gas, is your air filter plugged, i guessing it's a slant six.
best guess..
check ur idle set screw
its a screw near the cable ur gas peddle is attached to
if thats broken.. you can macgyver it by wedging in a spacer with some kind of clip
