I live in a military community, have a military medical provider. I have been battling what I believe to be sinus infection for 2-3 weeks. After the first week, second week maybe, everything was getting better. Had horrible green snot (sorry, tmi) that was finally coming out of my body and I have no congestion in my chest. My ear hurt for a day and then stopped, never hurt again. I'm at week 3 and have had a horrible headache for two days, I'm pretty sure it's my sinuses (right around/above my eyebrow, and my temple on the left side of my head. It hurts when I move, REALLY hurts if I bend over to pick something up. I called a doctor a week ago when I was feeling a bit better but had the earache, they said they could get me in in TWO WEEKS. I told them forget it, that hopefully this would pass. If I call them now they're likely to say "umm...we can get you in a month from now." hate that place.
Can I fix this at home rather than wait 3 weeks to be seen or wait 14 hours in the ER? It's just a freakin headache but it won't go away. Anything I can take to get that crap out of my sinus cavity?
