Can I get into UCSD/UC Santa Cruz/UC Irvine/UC Davis?
I've been stressing out WAY too much about getting into college...especially a top colllege, like UC berkeley, LA, UC San Diego, and UC Davis. Can anyone please help me out on how to get in, or if I'm legible so far?
Sophomore academic weighted GPA: 3.833
Junior academic weighted GPA (1st semester): 4.428
Overall high school weighted gpa: (most probably): 4.1 (or above)
SAT score: 2000
SAT subject tests: soon to be determined
Extracurriculars/awards: Math club, science club, Future Business Leaders of America, Red Cross, Robotic Club, Speech and Debate,
French Honor Society
-Have received various Leadership recogncitions and awards for academic excellence: National Society of High School Scholars (nationally recognized), National Student Leadership Conference, LeadAmerica, Congressional Student Leadership Conference, member of National Honor Society
Awards: awarded 3rd place in State Leadership Conference for Network Design (one of the events) in FBLA, and 6th place in SLC for FBLA and 9th place in the Bay Section Leadership Conference for Technology Concepts, for FBLA...also, awarded Semifinalist trophy in Speech and Debate tournament
Leadership: Vice President of National Technical Honor Society
So, all in all, by the end of this year, after SAT's etc. I'm interested in aerospace/aeronautics, and computer science, etc...can anyone tell me my chances of getting in, and how good they are as of now? I now I stll have to go through this year, but my dream schools are these...I now I have to keep up my GPA, so I'm working my *$*$ off right now..please, someone please give me some input...thanks you very much
P.S. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get National Commended Status for the National Merit Scholarship Program, for the PSAT, as my score was 209, which I think is high enough. But regardless, please be honest in answering! You will be rewarded!
