I have a 3.1 GPA with a 24 ACT score. My grade trend is very notable; I went from C's and D's my freshman year to a 3.86 GPA my junior year. I'm currently taking 2 AP courses and a dual credit college class, and I've got straight A's except for a C+ in my AP Euro History class. I've got a decent amount of extra curriculars, like 2 different science clubs 4 years, student council 1 year, school spirit club 1 year, reading talented and gifted 1 year, spanish club 1 year, marching band 3 years, pep band 3 years, and I'm starting to do peer tutoring for community service hours. I have a cousin who goes there know, if it makes any difference... he said it helps the admissions office see I can adapt to the college more easy? Also, I live in Illinois, so if the out of state is an advantage, keep it in mind... You would think it would. After all, they're getting more money... Anways please let me know. Thanks.
