I was born premature with under developed lungs, which led to my having asthma. As long as I can remember I have not had an attack, I've never been limited to anything because of my asthma. It has never held me back. I am 17 now, but I plan on waiting another year to prepare myself physically before enlisting. Would I be able to get a waiver? Could my family doctor write me a waiver of some kind or something, saying I can enlist? Please help, I really want to join more than anything. Either the Army, or the Marines, haven't decided that yet.
